How To Avoid TikTok Burnout

How To Make TikTok Easy

Growing on TikTok can be daunting. There are gurus out there that say you need to post 3-5 times per day. While I disagree with this, even posting once a day can seemingly take up a lot of effort and time.

So in this post I’m going to dive into how you can generate content more easily to avoid getting burnt out. If you find this content useful, I’d appreciate if you shared it with a friend.

The solution to making TikTok growth easy and manageable is one I adopted from the Japanese formula for a happy life, called Ikigai.

So when it comes to TikTok the key to avoiding burnout over time is sticking to the intersection of these three things:

  1. What content is working in your niche?

  2. What kind of content do you enjoy making?

  3. What kind of content can you create consistently?

  1. See my post here for how to find what’s working in your niche. An updated version is to search hashtags on TikTok in your niche, and then filter by “Like Count” and “This Month” this will show you videos that are working in your niche. For example, if your niche is real estate, go on TikTok and search #realestate, and then filter by “Like Count” and “This Month” to see what video styles have been working recently under the hashtag #realestate. You’d want to search related hashtags as well like #realty #housing or whatever you think is relevant to YOU.

  2. Do you enjoy being on your computer and editing or being out in the world? Think about what kind of content fills you up the most and gives you energy.

  3. Figure out a few formats that work well and aren’t too difficult for you to create on a consistent basis. When it comes to posting - it’s always quality over quantity. It’s helpful to post a lot (3+ times per day) when you’re getting started so you can get a feel for the formats that will work for you and what doesn’t work. Once you’ve figured out a few video formats that work well, aiming to post one quality post per day is great.

I typically spend 1-2 hours per day creating videos so that I can post 3 times per day. Let me know if you have any questions.
